Accurate component placement, especially on fine pitch parts or BGAs, makes the difference between a clean assembly and an assembly that requires extensive rework. A rigid base for the assembly and accurate positioning are the ingredients for successful component placement. Ascentec Engineering offers process carriers and pin support fixtures to insure the highest quality in your component placement process. Utilizing the latest in high temperature composite materials, our process carriers are light, rigid, and rugged enough to handle all surface mount processes. In cases where a full process carrier is not needed, we offer pin support fixtures requiring minimal set-up and maximum board support.

Pick and place is also an area where component damage and mishandling can result in very expensive scrap costs. Ascentec Engineering manufactures a wide variety of custom matrix trays, vibratory feeders, and short reel trays that are designed to minimize scrap costs.
