Dedicated wave solder pallets are usually the best tooling solution to achieve the highest quality and lowest costs. They are easier to load, require less training, and provide better consistency in quality. However, in low volume environments with assemblies that are odd shaped, a universal wave solder fixture can be useful. These fixtures adjust to the size of each board, and they offer excellent flexibility.
